Fuad Strik, Dipl. Ing.
Honorary Consul of Finland to Bosnia and Herzegovina
Director - Founder
After nine years as Country General Manager of the Coca-Cola bottling operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fuad established the firm as a next step in his professional career. Fuad recognised the opportunity to draw on the experience of building a consulting business in a challenging and fast changing Bosnian environment. Moreover, his membership in the Coca-Cola HBC regional management team, from 1996 to 2005 enabled him to gain deep understanding of the economic conditions throughout wider region. Fuads engagement with international engineering companies Osted (Austria) and Energoinvest (Bosnia and Herzegovina) enabled him to widen his technical expertise, learn foreign languages and improve his cross-cultural expertise.
For his achievements Fuad was awarded, among others, “Manager of Year” (2000), and on behalf of Coca-Cola Beverages BiH he received award “International Company of the Year” (1999). He acted as the co-founder and the first president of the Foreign Investor Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the board president of American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, he takes the position of president of the Association of business Consultants in BiH – LESPnet.
Since 19.09.2011 Fuad Strik serves as Honorary Consul of Finland. He has been appointed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Erkki Tuomioja.
Fuad graduated in engineering in 1976 at the University of Sarajevo. In addition, through the years he has completed several management education programmes, with special reference to I.M.D. Lausanne.
Hamid Mehinović, BSc
Project Manager
Hamid joined StrikConsulting, one of the leading business consulting firms in BiH in 2008. In the meanwhile he initiated, and is successfully leading, StrikConsulting’s special energy efficiency division – SC Energy.
After working for one of the top UK Energy Trading companies in London as an Energy Broker/Consultant and being part of the Carbon Reduction Commitment – Energy Efficiency Scheme, Hamid decided to spread his knowledge and educate the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the importance of carbon emission (CO2) reduction and energy efficiency improvements as well as renewable sources usage.
In addition, Hamid is the co-founder and director of the Center for Education and Raising Awareness of Energy Efficiency – Energis; developed with the mission to facilitate the transition to an energy efficient future in Bosnia and Herzegovina through education, advocacy and tangible community projects.
With regards to his education, Hamid holds a Bachelor Degree obtained at the International University of Sarajevo at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Other areas of interest: operations and supply chain management and EU funds.
Malik Ramić, MBA
Project Manager
Malik joined StrikConsulting as Junior Consultant in April 2010. His aim was to contribute to the development and implementation of project ideas in his fields’ expertise. His extraordinary ability to analyze problems and outline necessary courses of action brought a new perspective to StrikConsulting’s team. His strong financial and technical knowledge together with his personal aspirations in management, leadership and his willingness to learn and promptly adapt to changes and client’s needs ensured, and will keep ensuring fabulous result.
Malik holds a Master’s Degree obtained within a joint MBA programme (AACSB accredited) obtained at the Sarajevo Graduate School of Business and Texas A&M University. Prior to his Master’s Degree Malik obtained the Bachelor Degree at the School of Business and Economics at University of Sarajevo majoring in Banking and Insurance. Additionally Malik educated as Internal EMS Auditor ISO:14001:2004. Other areas Malik is interested in are: risk management, energy efficiency and EU funds.
