The Team
Fuad Strik, nine years Country General Manager of the Coca-Cola bottling operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1996–2005), established the firm as a next step in his professional career. Fuad recognised the opportunity to draw on the experience of building a business in a challenging Bosnian environment. Moreover, his membership in the Coca-Cola regional management team enabled him to gain insight of the economic conditions in the wider region.
For his work he was awarded the Manager of Year award in 2000, and he also received award for the International Company of the Year in 1999, on behalf of Coca-Cola Beverages B-H. He was a co-founder and the first president of the Foreign Investor Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the board president of American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Fuad graduated in engineering in 1976 at the University of Sarajevo. He has completed several management education programmes, such as the one at I.M.D. Lausanne in 2002. He has extensive international business experience, having worked for engineering companies Osted (Austria) and Energoinvest (Bosnia-Herzegovina).
Hamid Mehinovic joined StrikConsulting, one of the leading business consulting firms in Bosnia & Herzegovina, where he initiated and led the energy efficiency consulting department.
His previous experience working for one of the top UK Energy Trading companies in London as an Energy Broker/Consultant and being part of the Carbon Reduction Commitment – Energy Efficiency Scheme, he decided to spread his knowledge and educate the people of BiH of the importance of carbon emission reduction and energy efficiency improvements.
He is the co-founder and director of the Center for Education and Raising Awareness of Energy Efficiency – Energis; with the mission to facilitate the transition to an energy efficient future in Bosnia and Herzegovina through education, advocacy and tangible community projects.
He is currently an undergraduate at the International University of Sarajevo where he is pursuing his degree at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Other areas of interest: operations and supply chain management and EU funds.
Malik Ramić, consultant, joined StrikConsulting in April 2010, in order to contribute to development and implementation of project ideas in fields of interest. His previous arrangements and experience allow him to bring new perspective to StrikConsulting, especially in financing and report creation, but also in management, leadership and motivation due to his personal aspirations.
Malik holds a Bachelor Degree of School of Business and Economics at University of Sarajevo, majoring in Banking and Insurance. Currently he is involved with Sarajevo Graduate School of Business and Texas A&M University joint MBA programme (AACSB accredited) with great success, and he is supposed to graduate in December 2010. Other areas of interest – risk management and EU funds.

In a period when the total energy demand is soaring around the globe, interest to the unexplored BiH hydro power energy resources is growing, supported by the local needs for the new investments to boost economic development. Potential negative effects are often moved aside to many of the unique natural resources still preserved in BiH.
